Georgia Country Sausage, we base our entire operation on the
manufacture of quality food products. We take no shortcuts when it
comes to producing our products. We use only use choice cuts of meat in
our sausage - 'never scrap trimmings' unlike our competitors. All of
our smoked products are truly smoked with southern wood, such as oak.
Our turkeys, Boston butts and ribs are smoked with real hickory wood. We never
use liquid smoke because we like to keep it natural and do things the
old fashion way. We do not add MSG or BHT preservatives; we only use
sodium nitrite to ensure freshness. This is an all natural salt curing
process, and keeps our meat products fresh and safe.
Our sausage has a true southern style flavor, and is made to a recipe
that has been handed down through our family for generations. When you
cook our sausage, you will notice that it does not shrink up like store
bought sausage, because it is not made up of largely fat and water. We
do not add brine to our butts and smoked turkey product, or our dry
salt cured bacon to bulk them up. What you pay for is what you get, and
they will not shrink away as they are cooked.

All of our products are manufactured in our very clean and sanitary
plant, which is inspected regularly and maintained to the highest
standards. All our smoked meat products are vacuum packed on-site, to ensure that
they stay fresh and taste great. Our products will be shipped to you by
UPS, in Styrofoam chest with dry ice, ensuring that they will arrive to
you still frozen.
